Program Manager

Tom Partridge

He/Him

I am Originally from Ireland and came to Canada in 2015.  I am trained as an addiction counsellor and I have a Bachelors degree in Applied Social studies. I have worked with vulnerable people for over 15 years in Residential supports and Harm Reduction in both Ireland and Canada.

I became interested in working with vulnerable people based on my experiences where I grew up. I was lucky to have the security and family supports I needed when growing up. I became aware through friendships  that not everyone was a lucky as I was and that circumstances outside of a persons control can greatly affect their prospects and opportunities in life. I feel privileged to be able to work with our participants and do so with the goals of providing some support and security wherever its needed.

Patricia joined the Board in April 2023.

Aanii (hello) my name is Patty Johnston. I’m originally from the Chippewa of Nawash First Nation (Cape Croker). Wanting to be closer to my family on the reserve, I’ve relocated to Owen Sound when I retired from my place of employment after 32 years of working in the Automotive Sector of a large union. I started volunteering at food banks and soup kitchens and invited fellow union members to join me. Even in my retirement I’m still looking for ways to help those less fortunate.

I’m still involved in my union UNIFOR, I am a delegate on the Retiree Committee. Advocating for my retired union brothers and sisters and for those in my community.
